About Me

I am a retired Aircraft Electical Engineer having spent 22 excellent, happy years doing the Job I loved.

I started my working life at age 15 as an office boy for a short period then had several jobs as a photographic technician. all in the City of Dundee where I was born. Enlisted in the RAF in 1971 retiring in 1993. Managed to secure employment in Louth, Lincolnshire with an Optometrists in town  as an Optical Technician before being made redundant after 8 years in an enjoyable job. My final employment was as an IT assistant, teaching adults with learning difficulties, a satisfying end to my working life.

In retirement, I have several hobbies which keep me busy and the old grey cells ticking over. Gardening, jewellery making, scroll saw work, computer work. website design and photo restoration to name a few.

I enjoy a weekly game of dominoes down my local pub The Woolpack in Louth, where the company and ale are excellent
